Residents of an apartment complex in central Phoenix used a kitchen knife and baseball bat to chase off a trespasser who entered two apartments.

Phoenix Police report that on Oct. 26, Donald Lee Huff reportedly entered an apartment near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road.

The apartment resident yelled at him to leave, but instead, he allegedly grabbed the woman by the arm. The woman armed herself with a kitchen knife and Huff fled the apartment unit.

A few doors down, Huff allegedly entered another apartment. This time a male resident took a baseball bat and chased Huff out of his apartment.

Police located Huff nearby and arrested him.

He's being held without bond since he was already on release for felony charges. He is now being charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing.
