A man, who was caught taking pictures up a woman's skirt, told police he does it, "at least once a week."
Scottsdale police report that on September 27 they were contacted by a loss prevention officer from the Kohl’s store near Pima Road and Raintree Drive.
The officer said he had surveillance video showing the suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Derek Daniel Virgilio, placing his cell phone under a woman's skirt.
When police detained Virgilio in the store, they said his phone was still in "camera mode."
Police watched the surveillance video and then asked Virgilio if they could check his phone. When they did, they reportedly found a photo of the victim.
Police say they also found pictures and videos of several other victims.
Upon his arrest, Virgilio reportedly admitted to police that, "he does this at least once a week," at various locations.
He was arrested for surreptitious photographing and voyeurism.
