Two men, who burglarized a Goodyear home of a car key, jewelry and weapons worth over $10,000, returned days later to steal a car, according to the police report.

Goodyear Police report that on September 3 they arrested two men, 20-year-old Trevor Andrew Dillon and Christopher Adel Edwards, 30, for burglary and car theft near 155th Avenue and McDowell Road.

Police say Dillon entered a home near Lower Buckeye Road and Sarival Avenue through the 'doggie door.'

Once inside, he and Edwards reportedly stole guns, ammunition, body armor and jewelry worth an estimated $10,000.

They allegedly tried to sell the weapons, an AR-15 and a 9mm handgun for $1,200.

Police say a few days later, the duo returned as Edwards took the family's car, using the keys they stole from the previous theft.

Dillon allegedly served as a "look out" during the crime.

Police say Edwards also used the victim’s credit card to purchase a desktop computer.

The suspects were found four miles away from the home, show records. Edwards is currently on probation and is on bond-release in another case.

Police say Edwards is currently on probation and is on bond release in a pending case. Both men have been charged with burglary, car theft and weapons charges.
