NAVARRE, Fla. — A Louisiana woman was arrested for allegedly beating her wife with a bedpost after she "accidentally placed marijuana in a washing machine," according to a report by the Pensacola News Journal.
Ashley Perkins, 30, was arrested on Monday at 7:45 a.m. local time after the couple had an argument regarding missing marijuana, the report states.
According to the report, Perkins told police the argument over the missing marijuana began after she learned her wife accidentally put the weed in the washing machine.
Perkins allegedly beat her wife on the head, legs and arm with a bedpost, fracturing her wife's left arm during the attack.
Perkins was arrested and charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability, the report states.
