A woman was found naked and sleeping in her ex-boyfriend's bed after allegedly setting fire to his kitchen.

The Scottsdale Police Department said officers responded to a home near Scottsdale Road and McCormick Parkway on Dec. 2, 2018, after a man reported a fire in his kitchen.

According to the report, the ex-boyfriend arrived at his home around 9:45 p.m. and found his kitchen on fire.  After putting out the fire, he found numerous items were placed on the countertop and also set on fire.

He allegedly found damaged items throughout his home, writing on the walls, and several electronic items were thrown into his pool. He also found his ex-girlfriend naked and asleep in his bed.

He then called the police, according to the police report.

Police reportedly found the kitchen still smoldering. They also found 25-year-old Amy Vu on the bathroom floor "with evidence of an overdose attempt." She was taken to the hospital where staff allegedly found cocaine in her system.

Police estimated the damage to the home to be around $30,000.

Vu was arrested upon her release from the hospital and charged with burglary and arson.
