TEMPE, AZ — A wrong-way driver hit two cars head-on in Tempe on Elliot Road near I-10.
Tempe police report that around 5:15 p.m. on December 11, officers responded to Elliot Road and Interstate 10 for a three-vehicle crash.
Police say Dottie Jo Morgan, 54, performed an illegal turn and was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Elliot Road. She then struck two vehicles head-on, according to court records.
Police say a portable breath test resulted in a .309 blood-alcohol level.
She has been charged with two counts of aggravated DUI.
