PHOENIX — An armed robber threw bleach on one store employee and pistol-whipped another during a weekend incident.
Phoenix police report that on Saturday night, they responded to the Dollar Tree store at 35th and Glendale avenues for a reported armed robbery.
Court records show that Julieann Bradley, 24, hid in the back of the store until closing time. When an employee went toward the back of the store to count the money, Bradley allegedly produced a handgun and ordered the worker into a back room and locked the door.
Bradley then allegedly took the money and threatened the victim. She then moved the worker at gunpoint to the front of the store before throwing bleach on the victim and pistol-whipping another employee.
The police soon caught her. She is being held on a $50,000 cash bond for armed robbery, aggravated assault, and kidnapping.
