PHOENIX — A man was arrested in north Phoenix for intruding a home, and groping a woman after assaulting her husband.
Phoenix Police report that on Wednesday afternoon, they responded to a home near 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road regarding an assault.
Police contacted and detained Christopher Michel Simpson, 45, at the front door of the home.
Police say it was later learned that Simpson walked into the home and had an argument with a man inside the house before punching him in the side. He then reportedly confronted the man's wife and said, "these belong to me," before reaching out and groping the woman's breast multiple times.
Simpson was arrested for burglary, aggravated assault, and sexual abuse.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 10.
