A man working as a therapist for a Valley counseling agency has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Phoenix police report that on November 29 they arrested 45-year-old Glenn Bales at his home near 22nd Street and Camelback Road.

Investigators with Phoenix and Tempe police received several reports saying an account on the 'Grindr' dating app sent them unsolicited images of child pornography.

One report was from a man who met Bales through the app and went to his home. There, Bales allegedly showed him pictures and video of child pornography.

On November 28, police raided Bales' home and reportedly found a thumb drive, in his nightstand, containing images and videos of child porn.

In court documents, Bales listed his occupation as a therapist for a valley counseling center for the past two years.

He has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
