GLENDALE, AZ — A Glendale robbery victim was pinned in a parking lot by his own stolen truck last month.

Glendale police report officers responded June 20 to the Food City near 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road for a reported theft.

Police say 28-year-old Feliciano Morena Aguilar was seen stealing merchandise by store employees, and a manager followed him into the parking lot. At one point, Aguilar reportedly turned on the manager and began chasing him.

A witness stepped in to help the manager and was allegedly assaulted by Aguilar, who also stole the witness’s truck, according to a probable cause statement.

Aguilar then reportedly drove at the witness, pinning him between his truck and another vehicle before taking off. The truck's owner suffered minor injuries, police said.

When officers found the truck a mile away, Aguilar allegedly jumped out while it was still moving. The truck hit two vehicles and a gate before stopping.

Aguilar was located and arrested about a half-mile away. He has been charged with car theft, aggravated assault, robbery, and criminal damage.
