PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was arrested Friday night in a murder-for-hire plot.

Phoenix police report that Friday night, they arrested 18-year-old Patrick Wilson Santana Hall near 27th Avenue and Baseline Road.

Police say last November, Hall was contacted on Facebook and offered to kill a woman for $5,000. Court records show that in additional messages, Hall agreed to the job. Hall allegedly investigated the cost of a ballistic vest. He was later propositioned to murder another victim, according to court records.

In this instance, he was allegedly given instructions on how to contact the victim and "bait them to come out."

On Facebook, investigators say they also found numerous marijuana, Xanax, and cocaine transactions taking place.

Upon his arrest, Hall was allegedly in possession Xanax and reportedly admitted to being offered $5,000 for the murder, but changed his mind the next day.

Hall was given a $50,000 bond for drug possession and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
