Two members of a gang of four women were arrested after committing 26 thefts at grocery stores in Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert, Goodyear and Scottsdale.

Scottsdale Police report that on November 3, Danielle Nicole Williams and Rebecca Lencha Reyes, both 28, were arrested near 75th and Glendale avenues.

Police say that from August 3 until October 18, Williams, Reyes and two other women were involved in 26 thefts of Fry's and Safeway stores throughout the Valley.

Store employees got the license plate number of their car after one of the thefts. The vehicle was registered to Reyes. Williams and Reyes were identified when police compared their MVD and booking photos to store surveillance videos.

Police say they would usually enter the stores and conceal the items in their cart with bags that they brought with them. They reportedly took nearly $6,000 of diapers, laundry detergent, hair care products and razor blades.

Police say they found the products advertised for sale on an online marketplace account registered to Reyes and Williams.

They have been charged with fraudulent schemes.
