SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A man was arrested after reportedly stealing $15,000 in gold coins from a parked car in Scottsdale.
Scottsdale police report that on May 15 J. Money Alfaro, age 21, was arrested for reportedly pawning several stolen gold coins.
On March 22, police say forty "2014 Arctic Fox Canadian Gold Coins" were stolen from a car parked in front of a home near Hayden and Chaparral roads.
The coins are said to be worth about $15,000.
Police reportedly traced the coins to two pawn transactions done by Alfaro.
He has been charged with three counts of trafficking in stolen property.
