SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A Scottsdale homeowner found a naked stranger on her couch after the suspect allegedly showered and did his laundry in her home, according to court documents.
Scottsdale police report that on the morning of April 3, they responded to a home near Hayden and McDowell roads for a reported trespasser.
The homeowner found the stranger sleeping naked on her couch, court documents say.
The suspect, identified as Carl Joseph Tromberi, 57, allegedly told police that he entered the home through an unlocked rear door.
Tromberi allegedly said he took a shower in the house and began doing his laundry before going to sleep.
Court paperwork shows that Tromberi is a convicted sex offender who served five years in prison for sexual assault in 1985.
He has been charged with criminal trespassing.
