TEMPE, AZ — A Tempe man has been arrested for his 9th DUI, including several that happened in the last few weeks.
Tempe police report that on June 2, they arrested 62-year-old Kenneth Stephen Hamilton for driving under the influence near Mill and Southern avenues.
Police say Hamilton was seen driving his truck and swerving from lane to lane at 27 miles per hour where the posted speed limit is 45 miles per hour.
Hamilton's blood alcohol content was .153, police say.
According to court records, Tempe police arrested Hamilton three times in the last three weeks for DUI and he had his license suspended on May 13.
In total, Hamilton has nine DUI arrests. He has been arrested for DUI eight times since 2002, with his first DUI arrest in 1987.
Hamilton has been charged with aggravated DUI.
