PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a man allegedly killed a pregnant woman and his son before shooting himself in a Phoenix home Tuesday morning.
Phoenix police say officers responded to the home just before 11 a.m. after a welfare check was called in.
27-year-old Jacob De Zeeuw, 37-year-old Sarah Scott, and 6-year-old Jacob De Zeeuw, Jr., were found dead at the home. Police say Scott was four months pregnant.
Phoenix police are investigating the death of 3 people at a home near 16th St & Dobbins. Police said there are no outstanding suspects.

Neighbors tell me a woman, her boyfriend & a seven-year-old boy live there. The neighbor told us they moved here less than a year ago. @abc15 pic.twitter.com/jEqCa6i5TT
Neighbors in the area tell ABC15 the people who lived in the home kept to themselves often.
John Canisales, who lived nearby for more than 30 years, says the neighborhood is usually peaceful. He saw something was wrong when he looked at his surveillance camera around 11 a.m. and saw police cars speeding by.
While Canisales did not personally know them, he said he would see them occasionally as they drove down the street and added they were usually friendly.
“We wave at each other. I acknowledge her coming up the street because I was working at the yard. Just thinking that that’s the last thing you saw, it’s heartbreaking,” he said.
Canisales said he has grandchildren of his own, and to know that a young boy may be involved is devastating.
“This is too ugly. It shouldn’t happen. Especially a little boy, he was innocent. He’s got nothing to do with it,” he said.
Phoenix police detectives are investigating a homicide involving 3 individuals in the area of 8600 South 16th place. There is no risk to the safety of the community at this time.
