An arrest has been made in a deadly shooting where two others were shot.
Monday police arrested 25-year-old Devonte Keshone Laro Phylow upon his release from St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
According to Phoenix police, the incident happened near 7th Street and Bell Road on June 16.
Witnesses told officers that early that morning Phylow got into an argument with several men on the third-story balcony over the noise.
Later that afternoon when one of the men from the third story apartment returned from the store, the argument continued, and it escalated to a physical fight where Phylow and others pistol whipped each other.
One man broke up the fight and began walking upstairs when Phylow allegedly shot and killed him. The victim's brother, seeing this, pointed a gun at Phylow and they exchanged gunfire.
The were both transported to the hospital. Phylow was shot in the head and shoulder, while the other man was shot in the leg.
Phylow is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
Police are recommending charges of aggravated assault, and second-degree murder.
