Police say a 37-year-old man chase children with a bat at a Phoenix playground.
On March 25, a group of children were playing at a playground at an apartment complex when a man began to chase them with a bat, swinging it at them, and reportedly threatening to "kill" them, according to court paperwork.
The suspect was identified as Timothy Brian Talavera.
He always hit some of the children in the head, said police. All of the children were under the age of 10.
Police said Talavera lives at the same complex as the kids and may have been under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and booked into jail on two counts of aggravated assault.
