PHOENIX — A woman is dead after she was reportedly found in a truck with a gunshot wound in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police say they received a call about an unresponsive person near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road just before 7:45 Friday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman has since been identified as 37-year-old Jaclyn Nguyen.
Homicide detectives are investigating. No other details have been released at this point.
