Wednesday's Powerball drawing resulted in a third $1 million ticket being sold in Arizona!
According to lottery officials, 24 big winning tickets have been purchased around Arizona since October 12, around when jackpots for both Mega Millions and Powerball began climbing. The 24 winners included tickets worth $10,000 and up.

The biggest local winners have been three separate $1 million tickets. One was sold in Saturday, October 20's Powerball drawing and was purchased in Congress. Tuesday night's $1 million ticket was sold at a Circle K store near Dobson and Elliot roads in Chandler, according to lottery officials.

The players with the winning $1 million tickets matched all five of the numbers, but did not match the Powerball.
The $1 million ticket sold in Congress for the October 20 drawing was claimed Tuesday, according to lottery officials Wednesday morning. It is unclear if the most recent $1 million tickets have been claimed yet.
