PHOENIX — On the day President Trump returns to Phoenix for yet another visit to Arizona, a new poll shows he is trailing former Vice President Joe Biden by a large margin.
The poll by OH Predictive Insights has Biden up 52 percent to 42 percent over Trump.
This is Biden's largest lead yet over the president in Arizona. It matches Biden's highwater mark of 52 percent support back in April.
According to OH Predictive Insights' Mike Noble, this is the first time President Trump has polled below 43 percent in Arizona.
The news is even worse for the President, according to Noble. According to the OH Predictive poll, President Trump is losing support among seniors, a key group in his 2016 victory in Arizona. The OH poll shows the President's support among Republican voters 55 and older dropped 9 percent since March, from 77 percent to 69 percent.
OH Predictive says Biden has seen his support among Republican seniors nearly double to 26 percent.
The OH Predictive poll interviewed 600 people. The margin for error is plus or minus 4 percent.
