GLENDALE, AZ — Drive-thru locations to drop off your ballot will be available at stadiums across the Valley on Saturday.
The NFL launched a voting initiative back in August and the Arizona Cardinals joined in.
On Saturday, you can drop off your ballot at State Farm Stadium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Maricopa County Elections Department is also setting up at ballparks and sports complexes.
“They’ll be placed in our parking lots and the county will be there with their pop up and it will be very visible," Executive Director of the Arizona Cactus League Bridget Binsbacher said. "People don’t even have to get out of their cars. They can just circle in and drop off their ballots."
The Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury say they offered to have Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum serve as a location as well.
“I think a lot of WNBA, NBA teams are doing it across the country," Phoenix Mercury forward Brianna Turner told ABC15. "It just gives voters and local residents a familiar place to vote and just more access because I mean, there's nothing’s wrong with having more polling spots where people can get their vote out, hopefully less wait times."
Gila River Arena will also serve as a vote center from October 28 until Election Day.
