Are you a truck driver for XPO Logistics? The company is facing allegations that it misclassifies its drivers as independent contractors, even though they are treated like employees. This has allowed XPO Logistics to get out of paying its drivers for meal and rest breaks and for minimum wage, overtime pay, and expense reimbursement. If you were employed as an XPO Logistics truck driver at any time since 2015, you may be owed compensation.
Photo by: Facebook Honeywell’s TrueSTEAM Humidifier Class Action SettlementIf you owned a TrueSTEAM Humidifier between January 1, 2008 and April 14, 2017, you may be eligible to claim a new humidifier or up to $40 cash from a class action settlement. The deal resolves allegations that the TrueSTEAM Humidifier, made by Honeywell, is prone to excessive mineral scaling and sediment build-up due to a design and manufacture defect. The class-action lawsuit accused Honeywell of failing to honor its own warranty by remedying the defects. The claim filing deadline is November 6, 2017.

Manufacturers of these vehicles are facing claims that they failed to recall these vehicles sooner and failed to proactively help customers by offering replacement vehicles or loaner vehicles until the airbags are replaced.
