Google phones, Allstate and beer: Can you get money back?

What good is a smartphone if the microphone or speaker isn't working?

A class action lawsuit alleges certain Google Pixel and Pixel XL models had those issues, and the suit claims Google did not warn buyers or provide relief if there was a problem.

Scott Hardy with topclassactions.com says the company reached a settlement.

If you bought one of the phones manufactured before January 4, 2017, and did not receive a replacement made after January 3, 2017, you could get up to $500 if you had the issue.

The company did not claim any wrongdoing.

Allstate is also handing out money, up to $120 if you received a robocall from Oh Insurance agency on behalf of Allstate without prior consent.

It must have happened between April 2013 and February 2017.

You may have received a postcard about this one. The company claimed no wrongdoing.

Kona beer settled a suit alleging it wasn't really made in Hawaii.

The class action suit claims mainland bottle and draft Kona beer was actually made on the mainland in various states.

If you bought from 4 to 24 packs between February 28, 2013 and June 14, 2019, you could get up to $20 if you can prove it.

The deadline to file a claim is October 7, 2019.

The company did not claim any wrongdoing.
