What does Facebook know about your kids?
How is that information being used?
We've been hearing a lot about how Facebook advertisers are using your profile to tailor ads to you and your children.
Data Doctors Ken Colburn says while you can't turn off all ads, you can change the kind you'll see.
On your Facebook page, go to settings, click ads, then interests and your information.
Here you can turn off what Facebook uses involving your employment and some other information.
If you click on "your categories," you can see what Facebook has determined about your preferences and what advertisers are seeing.
Click ad settings, and you can change what they see.
And if you're concerned about all of this, Colburn says don't use Facebook to log onto other accounts because you're just sharing your information again.
