PHOENIX — Crews contained a brush fire on the north side of South Mountain Saturday night.
Officials say the fast-moving fire burned approximately one acre. Crews were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading.
ABC15 crews watched as the fire was extinguished:
Officials say the fire never threatened any homes or structures.
The cause of the fire has not been identified at this time.
Parts of Arizona were under Red Flag Warnings earlier in the day, but those warnings have since expired. Dry, windy conditions are contributing to the fire risk.
