PHOENIX — Phoenix fighters are working to recover a body from a canal near 22nd Avenue and Indian School Road.
Officials say an adult was found by initial arriving firefighters who appeared to be beyond resuscitative efforts.
It is unknown at this time how the person died.
The individual has not been identified.
An investigation is underway by Phoenix police.
