PHOENIX — The Arizona State Board of Nursing issued a cease-and-desist order to a woman they say is posing as a nurse and testing for COVID under the business name 360 Care.

The Board says Mackenzie Eastman misrepresented herself as a nurse while giving blood tests in a Scottsdale Fry's parking lot and possibly other locations.

Recently, the ABC15 Investigators found Eastman testing dozens of people for active COVID in a Scottsdale business park. But a medical expert tells us that blood test only detects past COVID, not active infection. She says only swab tests detect active COVID.

The Board of Nursing letter to Eastman says "while misrepresenting yourself as a nurse... you pricked a patient's finger to obtain blood and provided "negative" COVID results, which contradicted other test results for patients."

In a voice message to us, Eastman stood behind her tests. The Arizona Attorney General's office is also investigating.
