PHOENIX — A campaign is underway to revamp Arizona's election primary system by eliminating partisan ballots and letting everyone vote for the same candidates.

To make that happen, supporters of the idea filed a petition with the Secretary of State to present a ballot initiative changing the state constitution.

ABC15 Political Reporter Mark Phillips says it's an effort to give Independent voters more of a say in who gets elected.
