PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a man was shot and killed near 36th Street and McDowell Road Tuesday.
Officials say it happened just after 6 p.m.
Police say 39-year-old Bryson McKenzie was taken to a hospital where he later died.
It is unclear what led to the shooting but officials say a man was detained.
