AHWATUKEE, AZ — A teenager has been taken to a hospital after a shooting in Ahwatukee.
Just before 3:30 p.m. Monday, Phoenix police were called to a gas station near 44th Street and Ray Road for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a juvenile teenager suffering from a gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
The suspect(s) left the area before officers arrived and police are still searching for them.
An investigation into what led to the shooting remains ongoing.
