The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a threatening note found at Queen Creek Middle School on Wednesday, officials said.
School officials would not say what was written on the note, but said it was found in a classroom at the end of the school day.

Investigators said they do not believe that the threat is credible but, as a precaution, the school will have an increased law enforcement presence on Thursday.
Threatening note at Queen Creek Middle School is under investigation but MCSO believes there is no eminent threat at this time.
