A 30-year-old Arizona woman has been arrested in Nashville for allegedly trafficking a woman for sex.

Metro Nashville police said Anna Gutierrez, of Mesa, Arizona, was charged after allegedly forcing a 27-year-old Arizona woman to engage in prostitution with men who responded to an Internet ad.

The victim told police she snuck out of a room at the La Quinta Inn on Sidco Drive and got help.

She said she was forced to accompany Gutierrez from Arizona to Nashville on May 18.

Police set up surveillance at the motel and Gutierrez was stopped and arrested. She was held in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Investigators said the victim is being cared for by an organization that works to rescue victims of sex trafficking.
