Actress and director Penny Marshall has passed away, according to a Tuesday report from TMZ.
The entertainment news outlet reports that Marshall died Monday night at the age of 75. They say she passed away from complications of diabetes at her Hollywood Hills home.
In addition to acting in feature films, Marshall was a well-known director, producer, and TV star. She is best known for her roles on "Laverne and Shirley" and "The Odd Couple" as well as directing "A League of Their Own" among many others.
