SCOTTSDALE, AZ — American broadcaster Hugh Downs has died at the age of 99.
The Downs family says Hugh died peacefully on Wednesday at his Scottsdale home and was surrounded by family.
He had a career which spanned more than 60 years, leading shows like 20/20, The Today Show, Concentration and announcing for Tonight Starring Jack Paar.
