Three kids bicycling in an Aurora, Colo., neighborhood last week spotted a wallet on the ground. The story could have ended there, but these kids did what some might not have done — they returned to its rightful owner.

The homeowner, Jamie Carlton, shared on Facebook Tuesday doorbell video showing the three kids find the wallet and then attempt to return it.

The three walked up to Carlton's door and rang the doorbell, but no one answered. The kids then left the wallet next to the door and left.

Carlton wrote on the post, “If this doesn’t renew or at least refresh your faith in humanity you need help. These kids are amazing.” Carlton said the wallet belongs to his son.

The Facebook post, which has been shared and viewed over a 1,000 times as of Thursday, included a  plea to help identify the kids so that they could be rewarded for their good deed.
