Tuesday's incident comes hours after a similar incident took place in Tennessee.

Tuesday morning, a 41-year-old woman was charged with felony reckless endangerment and illegal passing of a school bus or failure to yield to a stopped school bus after striking a 10-year-old child boarding a school bus, WJHL-TV reported.

The boy suffered minor injuries, and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, WJHL-TV reported.

Tuesday's incidents are a reminder of the dangers children face at the bus stop. According to CNN, five children were killed in three separate the week of Halloween in the US.

In one deadly incident, a woman allegedly fatally ran over three students boarding a bus in Indiana while the school bus had its stop lights on.
