In hopes of spreading out attendance throughout the year, Walt Disney World Resorts announced on Monday a new pricing plan, which means admission into Walt Disney World could fluctuate based on the day and time of year.

Starting Oct. 16, a ticket for one day, one park admission will range from $109 to $129. A Disney spokesperson said the new pricing will be based on demand on a given day, with more desirable days at the parks costing up to $129 per ticket. When demand is lower, tickets at Disney World will cost as low as $109.

The changes will also allow Disney customers access to an interactive calendar.

"These changes are designed to simplify the booking experience, give guests an enhanced way to purchase theme park tickets and help them more easily plan the Disney vacation of their dreams," Disney said in a press release.

"When guests are ready to purchase tickets online, they may use an interactive online calendar, which displays different prices based on the dates guests choose to visit and states tickets will need to be used during a specific time period," Disney added.
