Honda recalling more than 106,000 trucks at risk of catching fire after car wash

Honda is recalling more than 106,000 Ridgeline pickup trucks to fix a fuel-pump issue that could cause a fire after getting a car wash.

According to Honda's website , sulfuric acid from certain car wash detergents can seep into the truck's fuel pump, causing a pressurized fuel leak that could ignite.

The recall affects Honda Ridgeline pickup trucks from model years 2017 to 2019.

Owners with a truck affected by the recall should take their vehicle to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive notification from Honda.
