HAWAII — Newly released doorbell camera video shows the last known sighting of 7-year-old JJ Vallow - one of two Idaho children who have been missing since September 2019.

In footage obtained by EastIdahoNews.com, the video from a Rexburg, Idaho Ring doorbell camera shows JJ just days before he disappeared.

In the video, JJ is playing in a yard of a townhome his mother, Lori Vallow rented. The video was captured just six days before JJ was last seen at Kennedy Elementary School in Rexburg. Following this, Vallow withdrew him and said she would homeschool him.

On Friday, a judge in Hawaii upheld the $5 million bail set for the kids' mother, Lori Vallow. Vallow was arrested Thursday by Hawaiian authorities on a warrant out of Rexberg, Idaho.

The Madison County Prosecution's Office said Vallow is charged with two felony counts of desertion of a child, related to her two missing children, Tylee Ryan, 17, and JJ, as well as misdemeanor counts of resisting and obstructing an officer, solicitation of a crime, and contempt.

Vallow is also accused of disobeying a court order to produce her children, delaying police attempts to find her children, and encouraging another person to also delay attempted by law enforcement to locate her children.

Vallow's next court appearance is scheduled for March 2, and is expected to deal with her potential extradition to Idaho to face the charges listed above.

Her husband, Chad Daybell, whom she recently married, did appear in court on Friday. He is not currently under arrest and has not been charged with a crime.
