Lori Vallow, the woman charged with desertion in connection with her two children who have not been seen since September, will be extradited to Idaho this evening, prosecutors said in a court appearance Wednesday.

Vallow will be transported to the airport later Wednesday and board a plane back to Idaho, where she will stand trial in connection with her missing children.

Vallow was charged with two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of dependent children in Idaho earlier this year in connection with the disappearance of 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old JJ Vallow. She was arrested on those charges in Hawaii on Feb. 21 and has been in custody there since on a $5 million bond.

Though Tylee and JJ have not been seen since September, they were not reported missing until November, when police conducted a welfare check on JJ. At the time, Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, told police that JJ was staying with a family friend in Arizona. By the time police had returned the next day after not finding JJ at the friend's home, Daybell and Vallow had left for Hawaii.

In the months leading up to the children's disappearance, Vallow had moved the family from Arizona to Idaho. Prior to the move, Vallow's former husband, Charles, was shot and killed by Vallow's brother, Alex Cox. Cox claimed he shot Charles Vallow in self-defense, and was not charged. Cox later died under suspicious circumstances in December.

In October, weeks after the move to Idaho, Vallow married Daybell. Their marriage came just days after the death of Daybell's former wife, Tammy.

Police are investigating all three deaths and consider them all suspicious.
