Officials say they received a report of a shooting at a Kentucky high school, but police are calling it "a bogus call."
School officials placed Western High School in southwestern Louisville on lockdown after receiving a report of a shooter Friday morning, and an officer stationed at the school began searching.
Lt. Col. Carl Yates with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says police have searched Western High School twice and found nothing. He says officers gave the all-clear and are leaving the campus. He said he had no information on the person who placed the call. He said that if the person is found, he or she would probably face criminal charges.
School officials also place a nearby elementary school on lockdown after the report.
