A DUI suspect, with possible Arizona ties, led Los Angeles police on a miles-long chase in San Fernando Valley Wednesday night.

The pursuit started around 8 p.m., police said. Two occupants were inside a white Dodge sedan that, at one point, caused a separate car crash.

During the officer-involved chase, the suspect reached speeds of nearly 120 mph while driving erratically and narrowly missing bicyclists, pedestrians and other vehicles.

The car exited the 405 Freeway at Panorama City. Two suspects jumped out of the car and attempted to flee from officers and into an apartment complex along Van Nuys Boulevard.

According to KABC, the driver remains at large, but it appears the passenger was taken into custody.
