PHOENIX — A child and several adults are hospitalized after a crash in north Phoenix.
On Thursday afternoon, Phoenix Fire crews were called to Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road for reports of a crash.
According to Phoenix police, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection. The force of the crash caused one of the vehicles to slam into a woman who was on a nearby sidewalk pushing a stroller with a child in it.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries while the child was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. The relationship between the two has not been disclosed.
Two adult drivers and an adult passenger in the two vehicles were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Detectives continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
