PHOENIX — A crash involving a commercial truck prompted a temporary closure of Loop 202 South Mountain on Thursday.
Just after 3 p.m., DPS officials say a truck with a crane attached crashed on the southbound lanes near Buckeye Road.
The driver reported that the brakes unexpectedly locked up, causing him to lose control. The truck rolled onto its side.
The driver received minor injuries and did not need to be taken to a hospital.
