The Phoenix Rising announced on Thurday that they added goalkeeper Brandon Keniston to their roster this season.

He is only 17-years-old and a Scottsdale native. Keniston is a former Phoenix Rising Youth player, and he is the first former player to make the first team.

Brandon Keniston went to Chaparral High School in Scottsdale before moving to Spain during his sophomore year, where he played for FC Malaga City Academy.

In Spain, he was the academy’s number one goalkeeper.

Now that Keniston joins the roster, the Phoenix Rising now have 20 players on their team for the 2019 season.
