CASA GRANDE, AZ — The Casa Grande Police Department says they are searching for the suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle that had two small children sleeping in the back seat on Friday night.
Police say the suspect is a white or Hispanic male with a shaved or short haircut believed to be in his 30s. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a gray hoodie.
According to police, the suspect got away after he crashed the stolen vehicle in Marana, Arizona.
Police say the boys were in the back seat of the vehicle when it was stolen around 9:15 p.m. from an Auto Zone parking lot near Florence Boulevard and Peart Road.
The boys were found safe after they were dropped off at a McDonald's in Marana.

After the kids were found, police located the stolen vehicle and initiated a pursuit. Authorities say the pursuit ended with a collision.
