The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at milepost 199 have reopened after a crash on the freeway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
There were multiple individuals who were seriously injured in the collision, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said. DPS said at least one vehicle rolled over in the collision.
Eastbound I-10 was closed near the interchange with Interstate 8, but later reopened. However, there was a 5-mile backup in the area.
