Officials are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect responsible for attempting to kill his girlfriend in Eloy.
On Monday, Eloy police responded to a reported shooting at the 3400 block of West Coulusa Drive. When officers responded to the scene they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound to her head and neck. Another victim was found with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
According to police, Joaquin Coronado is accused of shooting his estranged girlfriend and another family member before driving away in the victim’s vehicle.
The victim’s vehicle, a 2001 maroon Chevrolet Tahoe with Arizona license plate BBW2016 was located on Tuesday afternoon near Coolidge.
Coronado is 40 years old and has brown hair and brown eyes. Police consider him armed and dangerous.
