An Arizona City man is accused of selling meth near an elementary school.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year-old Marcus Payne was selling methamphetamine out of his home near Arizona City Elementary School.
His home is just 250 feet away from the school. At the time of his arrest, three children were found inside the home. One of those children lives in the house, the others appeared to be visiting.
“We have a serious drug problem in this country, and it is disgusting to see a father selling a dangerous drug like meth right across the street from a school, but has children inside his home exposed to the drug,” said Sheriff Mark Lamb.
Payne is facing numerous drug charges. He will also face child endangerment charges.
